A Wonderful evening of culture

On Tuesday evening, the Walchwil Alphorngruppe invited members of the Walchwil International Mens Club to join their rehearsal session at the Usseregg playground

30 members of the Mens Club joined the full contingent of 9 from the Alphorngruppe, for an evening of Music & socialising As the sun set to the wonderful sound of Alphorn music, the fire was lit, with everyone coming together to enjoy Bratwurst from the Fyrabig Metzg, washed down with a couple of beers.

The final highlight of the evening was the opportunity for Mens Club members to have a go at playing a real Alphorn, which could explain some of the strange noises heard across the village that night….

A wonderful evening was had by all.
